Day 2 of Anti-bloat Jump start

Ok so day 2, not so bad. Menu was a bit different and I actually mixed a few things up just because a couple of things I do not like. So here goes!

Breakfast...

1 cup of Rice Krispies

1 cup of low fat milk

1/2 cup applesauce

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

Ok so breakfast to me is boring, I mean I have never been nor will be a big breakfast eater. Now if you have all the fixins ( and fattening ) well...then ok that sounds good and going out to breakfast have ever only been interesting to me, but those days will only be few and far between. I mean, I would rather skip the whole breakfast thing, but I know...that is a huge NO NO!

Lunch...

3 oz of Tuna

1 cup of steamed carrots

1 string cheese

So lunch was pretty yummy, The carrots were really good, I just boiled them with some olive oil and water and mmm, they were tasty! They say to eat cooked veggies rather then raw, it's easier on your GI tract. Just in case you want a little more info: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastrointestinal_tract )

Now onto Dinner....

4 oz of Turkey ( I got a already seasoned Jenny-O turkey breast )

1 cup sateed mushrooms & onions

1/2 cup steamed brown rice

Tonight's dinner was actually very yummy, I enjoyed every bite. It was hard to get a delicious pictures since everything was basically the same color, but trust me it was all good.

Now for Snack...

(Another Smoothie)

Peach

1 cup of lowfat Milk

1 cup frozen peaches

If this looks good to you, well don't let it fool ya, it was a bug ole thumbs down! It was like eating frozen milk with a hint and a very small hint of peach flavor. I am not a fan of frozen fruit, for whatever reason when you freeze fruit the flavor pretty much disappears with it. I will certainly be switching over to fresh fruit for my smoothies after my 4 day cleanse.

ok so day 2 down..WOOT WOOT! Only 2 days to go, I have to admit I feel wonderful and I am not starving in between meals either. I still have the urge to snack but at least I am satisfied with the food I get.

  1. Wow I must admit, this is looking pretty good, Do you feel kind of unbloated? I wonder if you could have green beans again the second day since I dont care for carrots. The mushroom & onion saute looks absouletly great, I could eat that constantly. One thing on your list of mufas that was missing was Olive oil. Im sure that was one of them wasn't it? Well keep up the good work. Im starting today and I mean it. I really mean it.
